Road work will take place on the following areas sometime between August 22-28:
- Dana Pointe at Chambers: The road surface that was replaced last year will be replaced this year per our warranty. They will grind and replace that section of the road and will also complete the paving of the entrance from Chambers Road.
- Anacapa at Sand Pebble: The asphalt in that area will be removed and replaced.
Please watch for definite dates after final notification of dates is provided by our contractor.
Sprinkling Systems
We’re finding that sprinkling systems are very often misaligned and/or leaking and so, they are damaging the road base, requiring substantial road work. We are also finding that sump pumps emptying at the curb or nearby are also causing substantial damage. We would appreciate it if all residents with sprinkling systems and sump pumps would check and maintain them so we can prevent further issues. Another problematic issue is grass laying in the curbs, which is plugging up the drainage, also causing road failure. Please remove all grass clippings at the curb and around the drains each time you mow. This will save thousands of dollars in future road repair.
