Architectural Changes
Moon Shadows Bylaws: Article 6, Section 3:
Are you aware that Moon Shadows homeowners are required to submit an Architectural Request Form for all improvements to their property? Are you also aware that you are responsible for all township and county permits? Property changes including landscaping, painting, roofing, siding, windows, etc. all require approval. You can submit your architectural changes two ways:
- Online at https://www.moonshadowshoa.org/architectural-request-form/
- Download/print the Moon Shadows Architectural Request Form and submit a hard copy to Bob Scharf at 734-681-3049. Please leave a message for Bob, and he will return your call.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Street Parking
This is the time of year for graduation parties, family gatherings, summer barbecues, etc. We would appreciate your cooperation by having your guests park on one side of the street only. Cars parked on both sides of our narrow streets constitutes a safety hazard. Emergency vehicles, if needed in our development, would not be able to pass through.
Thank you for your assistance with what could be a potentially dangerous situation.

Preventing Flood Damage
Moon Shadows Residents:
Please find the drains in the street near your homes, and clear the snow and slush around them. This will help prevent flood damage to the roads and homes in our development. It’s important that this be done before the next freeze, which is expected in the next couple of days.
Thank you.

Snow plowing & cars parked on streets
Our snow plower is having a difficult time keeping our roads cleared when, too often, cars are parked in the streets. Please keep cars in your driveways to allow the snow plows to effectively clear our roads. This has been a very difficult winter as everyone is aware. Keeping our roads passable is the goal, but it’s important we do everything we can to help.
Thank you.
Al Sheffield
