Fines
As established in our Bylaws, Article XIX, Section 4, for any violation in our Bylaw or policies, including late assessment payments, MSHOA can levy fines and interest fees. These are assessed each month.:
- Charges to Violations & Delinquent Accounts are as follows: Initial notice Violation: $ 0; Second Violation of the Same Rule: $ 25.00; Third Violation of the Same Rule: $ 50.00; Subsequent Violations of the Same Rule: $ 100.00.
- Interest charges: Any assessment amount not paid upon receipt with each installment notice in default for 10 or more days shall bear interest from the initial due date thereof, at the rate of 7% per annum, until each installment is paid in full (Interest is not applied to the fines).
